I’m LeaSandra, though most people know me as Lea, a educator, speaker, author, mentor and creative strategist dedicated to helping women, children, organizations, and businesses grow with purpose, clarity, and intention.

01
If you’ve made it this far, settle in, this isn’t just another “About Me.” If my life were written as a story, I’d say it began with laughter drifting through the streets of Carol City, Miami. I was born on December 4, 1990.

02
The youngest in a family where love and togetherness filled every corner of our single-family home. My parents, married now for 45 years, raised me alongside my sister and three brothers. Because of the age gap, my sister and eldest brother were already in different stages of life, while my other two brothers and I shared the adventures of childhood more closely. My sister’s daughters, my nieces, were close in age to me, one even the same age. We grew up like sisters, and to this day she’s still one of the closest people in my life. Time has carried us forward, and now I’m not only a wife but also a great-aunt, watching another generation grow up before my eyes.

03
Childhood was adventure at its finest. We didn’t have the internet or smartphones to keep us indoors; this was the 90’s and our playground was the world outside. My dad, the handiest man I know besides my husband, built us a treehouse, a basketball court, and even set up a trampoline in the backyard.

My brothers and I rode bikes until the streetlights came on, climbed trees, went fishing, and sometimes tested our courage on the roof of the house. When we moved west to Miramar around the age of seven, our backyard opened up to a lake where we’d fish, feed the ducks, and dream about taking the canoe out, though somehow we never did. Both homes gave us memories that s7ll warm me today; memories of family, fun, and the beauty
of simple joys.

Now, here’s the twist, I wasn’t just the “sweet baby of the family.” I had a fighter’s spirit. And I mean literally. Growing up, I had no problem humbling the boys on the block or even in church, when they got too full of themselves.

I wasn’t out looking for trouble, but I sure wasn’t about to back down from it either.
Don’t worry, those days are behind me now (unless you count play-wrestling with my husband, which I still find hilarious). Looking back, it makes me smile, but it also reminds me of something deeper: God planted that fire in me early on. The courage to stand firm. These days, that fight shows up in better ways: in perseverance, in prayer, and in holding tightly to my faith.
I Grew up surrounded by diversity, with friends from all kinds of ethnicities, backgrounds, and walks of life. Middle school was amazing, and eighth grade was probably my favorite year of school. High school was just as memorable. I attended multiple high schools, and at each one, I became well known, made plenty of friends, and had a lot of fun. I loved almost everything about school, except the work.

I loved fashion and became known for my personal style, but beyond the clothes and popularity was something deeper. Although I was part of the in-crowd and well known among my peers, deep down I never really felt like I fit in. It wasn’t something that troubled me, but it was something I noticed. I enjoyed being around people, yet I was a loner at heart and often felt different from those around me. At the time, I couldn’t quite put it into words, but as I’ve grown older, I’ve come to better understand why. I also had a love for storytelling. I carried disposable cameras everywhere, capturing moments long before social media made documenting life part of everyday culture. I was always drawn to preserving memories, noticing the little things, and finding meaning in ordinary moments. That passion for freezing life in photographs, videos, and words has never left me. Today, storytelling remains one of the ways I process the world, connect with people, and share pieces of my own journey.
Today, life looks different, but it is more beautiful than I could have imagined. I am blessed with a loving husband who brings both joy and stability to my life, a supportive family that continues to be my anchor, and a steadfast commitment to the calling God has entrusted to me

For over a decade, I have worked with children and youth through schools, foster care, ministry, counseling, mentoring, and education, serving everyone from infants to high school students. Along the way, I discovered a passion for technology, teaching myself coding years ago and eventually founding my own technology company. Today, my team and I develop custom software, mobile applications, websites, and digital solutions, including an international rideshare and delivery platform my husband and I built together.
I am also a published author, speaker, educator, mentor, and, by the grace of God, a minister of the Gospel. My greatest passion is helping women and young people find clarity, confidence, and purpose. Through mentorship, education, and honest conversations, I create spaces where people can grow, heal, develop leadership, make wise decisions, and discover who God created them to be. I also partner with businesses and organizations to strengthen their vision and expand their impact through creative and digital innovation.
More than anything, I see myself in the young people I serve. I understand the searching, the questions, and the desire to belong. My hope is to show them that they do not have to walk through life lost or alone. With Christ as their foundation, they can build lives filled with meaning, direction, and hope.
So here I am today, a woman shaped by memories, strengthened by faith, guided by God’s Word, and committed to using every gift He has entrusted to me for His glory. My story is still being written, but the pages so far tell a story of grace, family, purpose, and a God who has never once let go.
